UDHAMPUR, May 29: A man committed suicide by consuming some poisonous substance at his residence in Ramnagar, here today. A police spokesman said that Vijay Kumar (42), son of Ludri Ram of Sarni Pyt- Pinger in Ramnagar, consumed some poisonous substance at his residence. The family members noticed him in serious condition and rushed him to Sub District Hospital Ramnagar where doctors declared him as brought dead.
The police after completion of all the formalities and post-mortem, handed over the body to family members for last rites.
Cause of provocation behind the extreme step could not be ascertained while Police have registered a case in this connection for further investigation.
