SAMBA, Dec 27: A middle aged man died due to electric shock in his house in Ghagwal area of Samba district. He was identified as Hem Raj (54), son of Sadhu Ram, resident of Ward No. 1 Ghagwal, district Samba.
According to the information received, he was doing some work at his house this afternoon when suddenly he got an electric shock from the heater, after which he became unconscious. The family members immediately took him to Ghagwal Hospital. On reaching the hospital, the doctor declared him brought dead.
In this regard, the police took cognizance and got the legal formalities done and the dead body was handed over to the family for last rites.
