JAMMU, Dec 5: A 62-year-old individual died in a road accident at Tikri area here today.
Jaswant Raj son of late Chunni Lal of Dhanoo, Tikri, was admitted to Primary Health Centre (PHC) Tikri after he was hit by a car at Mand area, official said.
After preliminary treatment, he was further referred to Government Medical College Jammu, where doctors declared him dead on arrival, he said.
While the body has been shifted to the mortuary of the hospital for conducting the post-mortem examination, police have registered a case under the relevant sections of the law at Police Station Rehmbal and started further investigation into the matter.
