POONCH, Nov 16: A youth was killed when a JCB Machine he was driving, met with an accident in Chandak area of Poonch district today.

Official sources said that a JCB bearing registration number JK12-A/ 5102 met with an accident during this evening while agaged at work near chandak-Dingla link road. The driver identifies as Tahir Hussain (21), son of Mohd Mushtaq, resident of Sawjian, Mandi was critically injured in the mishap. He was shifted to District Hospital, Poonch by the locals and police.
Medical Superintendent of the DH Poonch, Dr Shafiq said that Mushtaq was brought dead and after performing all the legal formalities, the dead body was handed over to the family members for last rites. Meanwhile, the police has taken cognizance of the matter.
