JAMMU, June 20: A man died today due to suspected poisoning case in Bagh-e-Bahu area of city outskirts.
According to a police spokesman, a man identified as Sushil Kumar (50) alias Kalidass son of Gajanand, resident of Bagh-e-Bahu was shifted to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), Jammu last night, after his condition suddenly deteriorated and he started vomiting.
“However, the man died today at about at 10.15 am in the hospital”, he said, adding, after completing all medico-legal formalities the body of the deceased was handed over to his legal heirs for last rites.
He said that Bagh-e-Bahu police had initiated proceedings under 174 CrPC in the case.
