JAMMU, Sept 6: An individual, who ingested some unknown poisonous substance at his home few days back passed away at the Government Medical College Jammu today.
Kuldeep Sharma (56) son of Mohan Lal of Bhulle Chak, Gajansoo had to be admitted to SDH Marh recently after he consumed some unknown poisonous substance at his residence, a police official said.
After preliminary treatment, he said, Sharma was referred to Government Medical College Jammu for advanced treatment, where he breathed his last today.
While the body of the deceased individual has been shifted to the mortuary of the hospital for conducting the post-mortem, police have initiated inquest proceedings to further probe into the matter.
