REASI, July 27: A 36-year-old man committed suicide by hanging himself in his house in Tanda village of Dera Baba Panchayat, Reasi district.
The deceased was identified as Alam Khan, son of Ghulam Mohammad, resident of Dera Baba. He was found hanging from a ceiling fan inside his home.
Upon receiving the information, a team from the Police Post Dera Baba promptly reached the spot and shifted the body to hospital for postmartem.
Cause of provocation behind the extreme step could not be ascertained while Police have registered a case in this connection for further investigation.
