Srinagar, Jan 9: A 35-year-old man has committed suicide by consuming poison at his residence in South Kashmir’s Awantipora area.
A police spokesman said Bashir Ahmad Bhat son of Mohammad Ramzan of Wuyan village in Pulwama district has consumed poison at his home. Bhat was referred to Sub District Hospital Pampore for treatment but he did not survive.
A case has been registered, the spokesman said.
