JAMMU, Dec 14: Bishnah Police arrested a man and recovered 30 litres of illicit liquor from his possession.
As per police sources, on reliable information, a team from Police Station Bishnah led by SHO Inspector Joginder Singh under the supervision of SDPO RS Pura Shabir Khan laid a naka and intercepted a man, who was moving under suspicious circumstances.
During checking, police team recovered 30 litres of illicit liquor from the possession of the man and arrested him.
The arrested person was identified as Manohar Lal, son of Lal Chand, a resident of Khairi Tehsil Bishnah District Jammu.
A case under FIR Number 178/2021 under Section 48 (a) Excise Act has been registered at Police Station Bishnah and investigation started.
