JAMMU, Nov 9: Pouni Chak Police arrested a man along with large quantity of illicit liquor quarters.
As per police sources, on specific information a team from Police Post Pouni Chak led by PSI Nitish Khajuria laid a naka and apprehended a man along with 47 quarters of illicit liquor.
The arrested person was identified as Deepak Singh alias Deepa, son of Ranjit Singh, a resident of Ward Number 1 Ghou Manhsan District Jammu.
A case under FIR Number 319/2021 under Section 48-(a) Excise Act has been registered at Police Station Domana and investigation started.
The whole operation was conducted under the supervision of SHO Domana Inspector Mahesh Sharma, SDPO Domana Sunil Singh and SP Rural Sanjay Sharma.
