KISHTWAR, Apr 28: Chatroo police arrested a man along with illicit liquor bottles.
As per police sources, on reliable information about smuggling of illicit liquor, a team from Police Station Chatroo led by SHO Inspector Sandeep Parihar laid a naka in Sigdi area of Mughal Maidan and intercepted a person.
During checking, police team recovered 20 bottles of illicit liquor from the possession of the person and arrested him.
The arrested person has been identified as Ishar Dass, son of Krishan, a resident of Nanzala Sigdi.
A case under FIR Number 14/2021 under Section 48 (a) Excise Act has been registered at Police Station Chatroo and investigation taken up.
