JAMMU, Sept 7: Gajansoo police arrested a man along with illicit liquor.
As per police sources, on reliable information a team from Border Police Post (BPP) Gajansoo led by ASI Sanjeet Singh laid a naka at Karloop Morh and intercepted a person, who was moving under suspicious circumstances.
During checking, police team recovered 53 quarters of illicit liquor from the possession of the man and arrested him.
The arrested person has been identified as Sat Paul, son of Devan Chand of Assrey Chak Gajansoo district Jammu.
A case under FIR Number 143/2020 under Section 48-A Excise Act has been registered at Kanachack Police Station and investigation started.
The arrest was made under the supervision of SHO Kanachack Police Station Inspector Ravi Parihar, SDPO Domana Kosheen Koul and SP Rural Suram Singh.
