JAMMU, Aug 30: Border Police Post (BPP) Gajansoo arrested a man along with illicit liquor.
As per police sources, on specific information, a team from Border Police Post (BPP) Gajansoo laid a naka and intercepted a pedestrian, who was moving under suspicious circumstances.
During checking, police team recovered 12 bottles and 6 quarters of illicit liquor from the possession of the pedestrian and arrested him.
The arrested person has been identified as Rahul Kumar, son of Tandav Dutt, a resident of Karloop.
A case under relevant sections has been registered at Kanachack Police Station and investigation started.
Police team led by Incharge BPP Gajansoo Sanjeet Singh made the arrest under the supervision of SHO Kanachak Inspector Ravi Parihar, SDPO Domana Kosheen Koul and SP Rural Suram Singh.
