RAJOURI, Mar 21: A man from Rekibaan in Darhal tehsil of Rajouri has been arrested by police alongwith consignment of narcotics.
A police official said that a team during naka at Ujhan- Rakiban in Darhal intercepted a person coming from Kassian side towards Rakiban. He tried to run away suspiciously on seeing police team. He was chased and nabbed. He disclosed his name as Aijaz Ahmed, son of Abdul Majeed, resident of Rakiban, Darhal.
On his personal search, police said, 06 grams of heroin was recovered from his possession. On this, a case FIR No. 15 /2024 U/S 8/21/22 NDPS Act has been registered.
