DODA, Oct 11: Police arrested a man along with illicit liquor pouches.
As per police sources, on specific information, a team from Doda Police Station apprehended a man along with 15 pouches of illicit liquor.
The arrested person has been identified as Sunil Kumar, son of Magar Singh, a resident of Koti, District Doda. He was carrying the illicit liquor pouches to his native village for selling among the people to make illegitimate profits.
A case under FIR Number 212/17 under Section 48-F Excise Act has been registered at Police Station Doda and investigation started.
Police team led by SHO Doda Inspector Raghubir Singh and assisted by Incharge Police Post District Hospital Doda SI Firdous Ahmed made the arrest under the supervision of DySP Headquarters Doda Iftkhar Ahmed and SSP Doda Mohammad Shabir.
