JAMMU, Aug 29: Chatha police arrested a man along with illicit liquor pouches.
As per police sources, on specific information, a team from Chatha police post laid a naka at Nikki Tawi and intercepted a person.
During checking, police recovered 55 pouches of illicit liquor pouches from the possession of the man and arrested him on the spot.
The bootlegger has been identified as Yash Pal alias Kaku, son of Dewan Chand, a resident of Nandwal.
A case under FIR Number 166/16 has been registered in this regard at police station Satwari and investigation started.
Police team led by Incharge Chatha police post SI Krishan Lal Raina made the arrest under the supervision of SHO Satwari Inspector Manjeet Singh, SDPO South Sachin Gupta and SP South Shaazad Salaria.
