JAMMU, Sept 9: A man has been arrested for raping an attendant inside the premises of Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) here.
As per police sources, few days back a complaint was lodged by a lady (attendant of a patient) with Police Station Bakshi Nagar stating that a man identified as Vishal Matto has allegedly raped her inside the premises of GMCH.
Acting over the complaint, a case under relevant section was registered at Police Station Bakshi Nagar and investigation started.
During the course of investigation, a team from Police Station Bakshi Nagar led by SHO Inspector Harjeet Singh under the supervision of SDPO West Rahul Nagar conducted series of raids and finally arrested the alleged rapist.
Further investigation into the case is going on.
