JAMMU, June 23: Police arrested a man along with charas from Panjtirthi area, falling under the jurisdiction of Pacca danga police station.
As per police sources, on specific information, a team from Pacca Danga police station laid a naka near Panjtirthi and intercepted a man, who was moving under suspicious circumstances.
During checking, police recovered 800 grams charas from the possession of the man and arrested him on the spot, who has been identified as Mushtaq Ahmed.
A case under NDPS Act has been registered at Pacca Danga police station and investigation started.
Police team led by SHO Pacca Danga Inspector Ajay Bhat made the arrest under the supervision of SDPO City Vivek Shekhar Sharma and SP City Dr Vinod Kumar.
