JAMMU, Nov 11: Gandhi Nagar police arrested a man along with 3 kilograms of cannabis, a police official said.
The arrested person has been identified as Amjad Hussain, son of Ghulam Rasool, a resident of Astan Bala, District Kishtwar. He was arrested during checking in A/D Block Gandhi Nagar.
A case under FIR Number 250/18 under section 8/20 NDPS Act has been registered at Gandhi Nagar Police Station and investigation started.
Police team led by SHO Gandhi Nagar Inspector Sunil Singh Jasrotia and assisted by SI Subash Chander made the arrest under the supervision of SDPO South Dr Sunniya Ashkoor Wani, SP South Vinay Kumar and SSP Jammu Vivek Gupta.
