MAM College students protest against Professor

JAMMU, Oct 25: Students of Government MAM College today held a protest demonstration against a Professor.
Students assembled in the college premises under the banner of National Panthers Students Union (NPSU) and raised slogans against Professor RK Bhat. They also burnt the effigy of the Professor for his callous attitude towards the students.
While speaking, Lucky Singh, activist of NPSU, alleged that Professor Bhat is continuously harassing the students and is least bothered about the future of the students. He added that the Professor fails to clear the doubts of the students in Physics subject.
Students urged the higher authorities of the Education Department for change of Professor and also appropriate action against him, otherwise, they will continue their protest.
Among others who spoke were Nitin Chib, Altaf, Javed, Michel Singh, Manjeet Kour, Kamaljeet Kour, Sandeep Kour, Gagan Singh, Deepak Rag Panday, Rohit Choudhary, Sahil Mushtaq, Sunny Kesar, Sidharth Dogra, etc.
When contacted College Principal, Dr Ramesh Chander, told Excelsior that he has not received any complaint regarding the above said Professor.
Dr Chander added that he would consult the students about the problems being faced by them for its early disposal.
