JAMMU, July 15: Senior Congress leader and former national general secretary of Indian National Youth Congress (INYC), Vikram Malhotra, kick started development-cum-renovation of Ward No 10 Pahariyan Mohalla of Jammu city, here today.
The Traders Association of Pahariyan Mohalla Market had approached the Chairman, Legislative Council, Amrit Malhotra and highlighted the issue of deplorable condition of Pahariyan Mohalla road.
Keeping in view the plight of the people of the area, Malhotra provided financial assistance of Rs 3, 40, 000 from his Constituency Development Fund (CDF) for renovation of the Road. In addition to this, he provided five street lights for the area.
Today, Malhotra inaugurated the development and renovation work of the road, which was a long pending demand of people of the area.
