JAMMU, Sept 21: The crushed body of a man was found late last night from railway track at Railway Station Jammu.
According to a police spokesperson, the badly crushed body of a man identified as Madan Gopal (52) son of Ram Chand Sharma, a resident of Channi Himmat, Jammu, was found from railway tracks at Railway Station Jammu, at about 2325 hours late last night.
On getting information, a police team from police station GRP Jammu reached the spot and shifted the body of the deceased to Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu, where after conducting postmortem, it was handed over to its legal heirs for last rites.
The police has registered a case in this connection and initiated proceedings under 174 CrPC.
