JAMMU, Apr 17: In a major reshuffle in the police administration, the Home Department of Jammu and Kashmir Government has ordered the transfer and postings of 17 IPS and 96 JKPS officers.

As per an order, Uttam Chand, the 2002 batch IPS officer, who was awaiting orders of posting, has been posted as IGP (Police Operations & Services) PHQ against an available vacancy, Sarah Rizvi, DIG IR Jammu, has been transferred and posted as DIG Udhampur-Reasi (UR) Range vice Rayees Mohammad Bhat, Shiekh Junaid Mehmood, awaiting posting, has been posted as DIG IR Kashmir against an available vacancy, and Umesh Kumar, DIG Home Guards Jammu, has been transferred and posted as DIG Training PHQ against an available vacancy.
Rayees Mohammad Bhat, the DIG UR Range, has been transferred and posted as DIG CID Kashmir against an available vacancy, JS Johar, AIG Crime & Complaints PHQ, has been transferred and posted as incharge Director Police Telecommunication against an available vacancy, Sanjeev Kumar Yadav, Divisional Commandant Home Guards Jammu, has been transferred and posted as SO to IGP Technical Services against an available vacancy, and Ajaz ahmad Bhat, Commandant Third Battalion IR, has been transferred and posted as SSP Traffic City Srinagar vice Muzaffar Ahmad Shah, the order said.
Further, Ranjit Singh Sambyal, SSP Security VIP Tech, has been posted as Principal PTTI Vijaypur against an available vacancy, Amritpal Singh, SSP Tech CID Headquarters, has been transferred and posted as SSP Anantnag vice GV Sundeep Chakravarthy, who (Chakravarthy) has been posted as SSP Srinagar against an available vacancy, and Sanjeev Kumar Khajuria, Commandant JKAP 4th (Security) Battalion has been transferred and posted as Commandant First Border Battalion JKAP vice Ashok Kumar Sharma.
The 2017 batch IPS officer Tanushree, who was holding the charge of SP SIA Kashmir, has been transferred and posted as SP SIA Headquarters against an available vacancy, Bisma Qazi, SP East Srinagar, has been transferred and posted as Commandant Second Women Battalion JKAP against an available vacancy, Harreesh HP, awaiting posting has been posted as AIG Welfare, PHQ, against an available vacancy, Divya D, SP Sopore, has been transferred and posted as SP SIA Kashmir vice Tanushree, and Raghav S, SP Ganderbal, has been transferred and posted as SP tech CID Headquarters vice Amritpal Singh.
Meanwhile, the Government has also ordered the transfer and postings of 96 JKPS officers.
