JAMMU, July 11: All Jammu and Kashmir Mahasha Sadar Sabha celebrated 76th foundation day at its head office, Dogra Hall, today.
Maheshar Dardi, vice chairman of the trust Guru Nabha Dassji Maharaj was the chief guest. A large number of prominent persons of the community drawn from various areas of the State attended the programme. A homage was paid to the departed souls of the community who served the Sabha at different periods right from its foundation and their contributions and services for the upliftment of the community were recalled.
Prominent among those who spoke on the occasion were N D Rajwal, B L Bharti, Girdhari Lal Lakhnotra, B D Naryal, Gulshan Rahi, Ram Pal, Koushal Karotra, Som Raj Taroch, Arun Rajwal, Dina Nath Dogra, Pt Kali Dass, Darshan Banmotra, Sham Lal Mahasha, Raj Kumar Kangla, Shammi Naryal, Dwarka Nath, Rajesh Bajgal, Vaishno Dutt, Koushal K Bhathnotra and Suresh Kumar.
