JAMMU, July 2: Jammu Central Mahajan Sabha (JCMS) is running a free Langer for Shri Amarnath pilgrims.
The Langar was inaugurated yesterday when more than 1000 pilgrims were offered free food and 780 pilgrims were registered for the holy Yatra at the counter opened by the administration at Mahajan Bhawan, Shalamar Road.
Subash Gupta and Balbir Gupta, Langer In-charges sought suggestions from the visiting pilgrims for improvement.
President of the Sabha, Romesh Chander Gupta said that the Langar Sewa will continue till the conclusion of this annual pilgrimage.
MLA Arvind Gupta today visited Mahajan Sabha and interacted with organisers of the Langer. He also met the pilgrims and wished them successful pilgrimage.
The MLA appreciated the efforts of Mahajan Sabha for setting up free Langer Sewa.
Sanjay Mahajan, general secretary expressed satisfaction over the arrangements made by Mahajan Sabha for the pilgrims.
Kushant Prajapati, Rehari-Bakshi Nagar Mandal president also accompanied the MLA.
Ramesh Gupta, C.P Gupta, patrons, Shiv Partap Gupta, senior vice president, Surinder Gupta, Atul Gupta, vice presidents, Vijay Gupta, Darshan Gupta, Satish Gupta, Marriage Bureau, Shashi Kant, Bal Raj Gupta, Rajan Gupta, R.C Gupta, Ram Sarup Gupta, Bhuvnashwar Gupta and many others were also present on this occasion.
