JAMMU, May 15: The Jammu Central Mahajan Sabha (JCMS) has appealed Lt Governor Manoj Sinha and Chief Minister Omar Abdullah for early distribution of relief to the families affected due to recent shelling and drone attacks by Pakistan.
The representatives of the Sabha, under their President Romesh Chander Gupta, visited the affected families in Rehari Colony, Jammu.
During this visit, it was observed that a lot of damage to some buildings has occurred in this area. Some persons also got serious injuries, involving urgent surgery. About 30 vehicles have also been damaged.
The Mahajan Sabha President assured the affected families that Government will be requested to provide compensation to them, at an earliest so that their sufferings and miseries are properly addressed. He urged LG Manoj Sinha and CM Omar Abdullah for early distribution of the compensation to the affected families.
Romesh Chander Gupta was accompanied by Shiv Partap Gupta (Sr Vice President), Sanjay Mahajan (Gen Secretary), Subash Gupta, Surinder Gupta (Vice Presidents), Balbir Gupta (Secretary) and Arun Gupta (ward President).
