JAMMU, Feb 8: A Maha Yagya was performed by Kashmiri Sabha Haridwar at Harkipori, Hardiwar on the occasion of Somawati Amawasiya and Kumb Mela today.
A large number of devotes from Jammu and other parts attended the religious function. The Hawan was performed under the supervision of Swami Kumar Ji and president of the Sabha, Arjan Nath Bhat.
Swami Kumar Ji gave religious discourses and highlighted the significance of the day as well as Maha Kumb.
The devotees were served prashad after Puranahuti. Night long Bhajan Kirtan was also performed.
