Madurai people will punish Stalin, Udhayanidhi for ‘insulting’ ‘Sanatana Dharma’: BJP chief Nabin

MADURAI (Tamil Nadu), Apr 12 : BJP National President Nitin Nabin on Sunday said Madurai will “pay back” Chief Minister M K Stalin and his son Udhayanidhi for their alleged remarks against ‘Sanatana Dharma’ and the Hindu culture.
Speaking to PTI at the sidelines of a roadshow here, Nabin stated that the public and the priestly community would ensure the ruling party is punished by the electorate for these comments.
“The way Stalin and his son have insulted Sanatana Dharma and Hindu culture, the public and the Sadhu Sants will ensure they are punished by the electorate,” Nabin told PTI Videos.
He expressed confidence that the DMK would be ousted from power in Tamil Nadu to make way for an NDA government, citing a significant shift in the public mood.
“The public mood is clear. People are responding to the DMK’s corruption and their failure to provide jobs. The youth want to fight against the drug culture that has taken over the society,” Nabin said, adding that the NDA is the only viable alternative for the state’s progress.
According to him, the administration has focused on corrupt practices instead of development, leading to a sharp rise in unemployment across the state.
The BJP leader also raised serious concerns regarding a growing drug menace, accusing the ruling party of involvement in the trade.
He claimed that the youth of Tamil Nadu are becoming addicts.
“The combination of stagnant growth, corruption, and the perceived insult to religious sentiments has created a strong sentiment against the government that will reflect in the upcoming transition of power,” he added. (PTI)
