PARIS, Dec 29 : French President Emmanuel Macron said that he joined a conversation between European leaders, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, and US President Donald Trump, and then held a separate talk with Zelenskyy.
“Along with several other European leaders, I took part this evening in an exchange with Presidents Zelenskyy and Trump. I then spoke with President Zelensky,” Macron said on X late on Sunday.
On Sunday, Trump met Zelenskyy at Mar-a-Lago in Florida. After their bilateral talks, Trump and Zelenskyy joined a telephone conversation with European leaders. Before meeting Zelenskyy, Trump said he had a good and very productive phone call with Russian President Vladimir Putin.
