JAMMU, Apr 20 : Lieutenant General Pratik Sharma is all set to take over as new Army Commander of strategic Udhampur-based Northern Command.

Official sources said that Lt Gen Pratik Sharma, who currently is at Army Headquarters as Deputy Chief of Army Staff, Strategy is expected to replace Lieutenant General M V Suchindra Kumar as new Army Commander.
Lt Gen Suchindra Kumar is attaining superannuation on Apr 30.
