JAMMU, Mar 14: Northern Army Commander Lt Gen Pratik Sharma today chaired a weekly coordination meeting of all security stakeholders in Jammu to review the prevailing security situation and strengthen the counter-terrorism framework in the region.
During the meeting, detailed discussions were held on enhancing real-time intelligence sharing and ensuring better coordination among various security agencies.
The participants reviewed the existing security arrangements and emphasized maintaining a high level of operational preparedness across Jammu and Kashmir to effectively deal with any emerging threats.
The Army Commander stressed the need for proactive intelligence sharing and seamless coordination among all agencies to ensure a swift response to security challenges.
The stakeholders reaffirmed their commitment to a policy of zero tolerance against terrorism and resolved to continue working in close synergy to maintain peace, stability and safety for the people of Jammu and Kashmir.
The meeting concluded with all agencies reiterating their resolve to remain vigilant and strengthen the overall security architecture in the region.
