UDHAMPUR, Dec 19: Lieutenant General Pratik Sharma, Army Commander Northern Command (Army Cdr NC), reviewed the security architecture and operational preparedness of the forces deployed in South Kashmir.
During the visit, the Army Commander was briefed in detail on the prevailing security scenario, the joint intelligence framework in place, refined standard operating procedures, and strengthened mechanisms for coordinated response among various security agencies.
The briefing highlighted the importance of seamless coordination and intelligence sharing to maintain high levels of operational readiness in the challenging security environment of the region.
Lt Gen Pratik assessed the preparedness of the troops on ground and expressed satisfaction over the robustness of security measures and the synergy among the forces.
He emphasized the need for continued vigilance, adaptability, and proactive operations to effectively counter emerging security challenges.
