RAJOURI, Oct 28: An Army officer and a Havaldar were injured in a mine blast at a forward area of Lam in Nowshera sector today.
Official sources said that Lt Col A Badola and Havaldar Chitra Bahadur of 2/1 Gorkha Regiment received serious injuries in a mine blast during patrolling near Purna Bahadur Post at Pukhrni in Lam sub sector of Nowshera this afternoon. They sustained serious injuries in their legs.
They were rushed to unit Hospital at Nowshera and then airlifted to Command Hospital, Udhampur.
