LSCT organizes medical awareness camp for women

JAMMU, Oct 14: The Laugakshi Samrasta Charitable Trust (LSCT) successfully today organized a comprehensive Medical Awareness Camp dedicated to women’s health and gynaecology, focusing on empowering women with knowledge, breaking taboos and promoting overall wellness.
The camp, featured free consultations, health check-ups and interactive awareness sessions on vital topics such as menstrual hygiene, reproductive health, PCOD, anemia, menopause care and holistic women’s wellness.
The sessions were led by Dr Samita Bhat, a respected senior Gynaecologist, whose guidance and empathetic approach encouraged open discussions on health issues often stigmatized or overlooked.
Expressing gratitude, the Trust extended heartfelt thanks to Dr Samita Bhat, volunteers and supporters for their commitment and compassion in bringing the initiative to life.
Speaking on the occasion, the Vice President of the LSCT emphasized, “Women’s health is the foundation of a strong and progressive society. Our aim is to ensure that every woman feels informed, supported and empowered to take care of her well-being without hesitation.”
The camp concluded on a hopeful and inspiring note, reaffirming the Trust’s ongoing mission to promote health awareness, dignity and empowerment among women through sustained medical and social outreach initiatives.
