JAMMU, Feb 8: All J&K Low Paid Employees Federation (LPEF) has expressed serious concern over apathetic attitude the Government towards long pending demands of employees, daily wagers and pensioners.
In a provincial committee meeting of the Federation, State president of the Federation, Abdul Majid Khan, strongly urged upon Governor NN Vohra to immediately release 6% DA installment due since July 2015 in favour of State employees and pensioners in order to relieve them from undue miseries they have been facing due to unprecedented increase in prices of essential commodities.
He also stressed for fulfilling other demands like enhancement of medical allowance to Rs 1000 per month, regularization of adhoc, contractual and daily wager employees on completion of seven years of service, timely payment of salaries to ReT teachers, employees appointed under new pension scheme and daily wagers, revision of pension after 80 years of age on Central pattern, etc.
