LPEF urges Govt to concede demands

JAMMU, Oct 7: All J&K Low Paid Employees Federation (LPEF) has expressed serious concern over apathetic attitude of the Government towards long pending demands of employees, daily wagers and pensioners.
In a meeting of the Federation, State LPEF president Babu Ram Sharma, strongly urged the Government to immediately implement 7th Pay Commission recommendation on Central pattern, enhance medical allowance to Rs 1000, remove of Pay anomalies of Head, Senior and Junior Assistants, regularise adhoc, contractual employees and daily wage workers including those engaged after 1994 on completion of seven years service and pensioners in order to relieve them from unprecedented hike in prices of essential commodities.
Besides Babu Ram Sharma, Rattan Chand Bhagat, Thakur Dass, Ram Lal, Rajinder Singh and Madan Lal addressed the meeting.
