JAMMU, Mar 6: All J&K Low Paid Employees’ Federation has made a strong plea to the Government administration to release 3 percent DA installment from January 2019 in respect of State employees and pensioners forth with as the price of essential goods of daily consumption are rising sky high very rapidly.
Discussing the demands of the Federation during a meeting held here today, LPEF president, Abdul Majid Khan, also sought raise in the medical allowance from present paltry rate of Rs 300 to at least Rs 1000 on central pattern. He further stressed for providing health insurance cover with affordable annual premium.
The Federation chief reiterated the demand for restoration of leave travel concession in favour of State employees to enable them to have a broader view of the other states of the country like their counterparts in other states. The LPEF president also stressed upon the Accountant General of the State to expedite the process of revising pension under formulation II of Government Order No 22-F of 2018.
