Lovesh to attend Printmaking Symposium in Beijing

JAMMU, Oct 1: Lovesh Sharma, a young printmaker from Jammu is invited by China Central Academy of Fine Arts to attend Printmaking (Etching) Symposium going to be held at Beijing in China from October 6 to 19.
In the end of this year, Lovesh with his Australian peers will participate in a traveling art exhibition at Srilanka, Romania, Czech Republic and Poland.
Lovesh was in Australia to work at printmaker’s studio and Griffith University, Brisbane to demonstrate Indian techniques of printmaking. Alumni of Institute of Music and Fine Arts (IMFA) Jammu, Lovesh has done his Masters in Printmaking from Kurukshetra.
The camp has invited artist talks by senior artists on Printmaking and different techniques. The competitive character of Camp gave number of opportunities to various artists who live in the off- centers of art to come to the centre stage and make their presence felt.
