JAMMU, Jan 17: A loud blast-like sound was heard in the Gajansoo area today, creating panic among residents.
A police official said after several people complained about the mysterious sound, a police team from Border Police Post (BPP) Gajansoo rushed to the spot to verify the situation.
“During the inspection, police found that the sound was caused by the bursting of a truck tyre on the Ring Road. No injury or damage was reported in the incident, and the situation was brought under control,” he said.
