JAMMU, June 13: Even after installing smart power meters and paying hefty power bills, people are facing long power cuts during the scorching summer days.
This was stated by Manish Sahni, president Shiv Sena (UBT) J&K unit while addressing media persons here today.
Sahni reminded the J&K Government of the promise of 24 hour power supply after installing smart meters.
He said that due to poor power supply, water supply is also affected.
“Excessive power cuts during scorching summer days have made life miserable,” the Shiv Sena leader maintained questioning the silence of BJP MLAs who won from Jammu division.
He appealed to the public to plant at least one tree to enrich the environment.
Sanjeev Kohli, Raj Singh and Rohan Malwal were also present in the press conference.
