Lockdown, public obedience required to deal with corona

JAMMU, Apr 22: National Mazdoor Conference (NMC) today urged upon the Prime Minister and Union Home Minister to issue strict instructions to the States where COVID-19 positive cases have seen an exponential increase.
National Mazdoor Conference (NMC) President, Subash Shastri quoted WHO Director General, Tedros Adhanom to say that the worst is yet ahead of us in the Coronavirus outbreak as many countries are beginning to ease restrictive measures.
Shastri said that lockdown alone would not end this menace as strict enforcement and obedience by the people are also required.
In a handout he said that J&K administration is leaving no stone unturned to contain COVID-19 pandemic.
Shastri also lauded the services by doctors, paramedical staff, paramilitary forces, JKP, NGOs, volunteers and others.
He hoped that the vaccine developed by Cadilla and CSIR which is under-trial would provide relief to Corona affected patients.
