Lockdown extended till June 30, malls, restaurants can reopen from June 8 except in containment zones

New Delhi: The coronavirus lockdown has been extended till June 30, the Centre said today easing rules and issuing new guidelines. The Centre issued new guidelines for phased re-opening of areas outside the coronavirus containment zones easing lockdown rules. The Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) released the order today, the new guidelines will come into effect from June 1 and will be effective till June 30, 2020.  The current phase of re-opening, Unlock 1, will have an economic focus, the order read.
