REASI, Oct 11: The citizens of Reasi today urged the railway authorities for a stoppage of the Vande Bharat train at Reasi Railway Station, citing the need for improved connectivity and economic growth in the region.
Holding a demonstration in support of their demand, they claimed that the residents of Reasi and surrounding areas have been facing significant challenges in accessing major cities due to the lack of convenient and efficient transportation options.
“The stoppage of Vande Bharat train at Reasi would provide a much-needed boost to the local economy and would also promote tourism in the region,” they said.
Moreover, they added, the stoppage would also benefit the people of Rajouri and Poonch, providing them with a nearby station and saving them time and effort in traveling.
“We believe that stopping the Vande Bharat train at Reasi Railway Station would be a significant step towards improving the overall development of our region,” said Karandeep Singh, a local resident. “We urge the railway authorities to consider our demand and take necessary steps to make this a reality,” he added
The citizens of Reasi hoped that the authorities will take their request seriously and take necessary action for a stoppage of the Vande Bharat train at Reasi Railway Station.
