UDHAMPUR, June 23: Agitated over worst condition of the road from Chenani to Buda Kedar Nath, locals of Chenani today protested against the PWD (R&B) and district administration.
The protesting people said that Buda Kedar Nath historical Mela is starting from July 10 but five kilometers of the road stretch was in worst condition. Buda Kedar Nath is the historical and prominent pilgrimage of Lord Shiva in Chenani area of District Udhampur.
The locals alleged no action by the district administration and Public Works (R&B) Department to repair the road. Raising slogans against the district administration and PWD (R&B), they demanded black topping of this road.
