UDHAMPUR, June 22: Agitated over worst condition of Majalta Road, locals today protested against the Public Works (R&B) Department and district administration.
The protesting locals alleged no action by the district administration and PWD (R&B) to repair this road, which connects village Majalta to other areas. During the rainy days, the road turns muddy inviting accidents and it becomes difficult even to walk on it, they said and demanded immediate repair of the road.
The protesting villagers raised slogans against the district administration and PWD (R&B) for their inaction over the longstanding demand of locals, seeking black topping of this road, they threatened to continue protests till their demand is fulfilled.
