POONCH, Apr 19: LoC Cricket Club and Young Cricket Club (YCC) defeated their rivals convincingly to advance in the ongoing Police Martyrs T20 Cricket Tournament, organized by District Police Poonch, under Civic Action Programme at Govt Degree College Ground, here today.
In the first match, LoC Cricket Club defeated Malik Cricket Club by 6 wickets.
Malik Cricket Club won the toss, elected to bat first and scored 96 runs in the allotted overs.
While chasing the target, LOC Cricket Club scored 97 runs by losing 4 wickets, thus won the match by 6 wickets.
In another match played between Young Cricket Club (YCC) and Purani Poonch Tigers (PPT, the former defeated later by 6 wickets.
Purani Poonch Tigers after winning the toss and electing to bat first scored 178 runs in the stipulated 20 overs.
Chasing the target, Young Cricket Club scored 179 runs by losing 4 wickets and won the match by 6 wickets.
Huge gathering of sports lovers witnessed both the matches.
