SAMBA, Nov 24: One live 82 mm shell fired by Pakistani troops during recent shelling was recovered from the fields in village Babral in Ramgarh Sector of Samba district today.
The shell was recovered form the field of Lal Singh, son of Teja Singh. The locals later informed police which called the Army and Army Capt Raghul A of 269 Engineering Unit and Bomb Disposal Squad headed by SI Uttam Chand with the assistance of border police Post Kamore and Sarpanch and Panch of the area defused the device safely.
