UDHAMPUR, May 8: A worker of Lighten Wellspun Company, which is engaged in construction of Chenani-Nashri tunnel, drowned in Tawi river near Prem Mandir, around 18 kms from Udhampur town.
Identity of the deceased was established as Ramesh Kumar son of Bansi Lal of Seuna Block Chenani. He drowned while crossing the river. On getting information, Police reached the spot and tried to fish out the body but success was not achieved till filing of this report.
