SRINAGAR, June 3: Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha today visited the Lal Chowk market area and interacted with the shopkeepers, traders and discussed their issues and concerns.
The Lieutenant Governor directed the Commissioner Srinagar Municipal Corporation Dr Owais Ahmed to take immediate measures to address the issues of the traders, shopkeepers and business community. He also gave specific instructions for improving the civic amenities at Lal Chowk.

Meanwhile, Lieutenant Governor conducted on-site inspection and reviewed progress of allied works at Balidan Stambh in Srinagar.
The Lieutenant Governor ascertained the progress at the site and directed the officials for timely completion of the works.
The Lieutenant Governor was accompanied by Dr. Bilal Mohi-ud-Din Bhat, Deputy Commissioner Srinagar; Dr. Owais Ahmed, Commissioner, Srinagar Municipal Corporation and other senior officials.
Meanwhile, Aftab Malik, Chairman, District Development Council Srinagar, called on Lieutenant Governor.
Subsequently, Saima Jan, Member, District Development Council, BK Pora, Budgam and a delegation of Borderless World Foundation, a social organisation also called on the Lieutenant Governor.
