The artwork symbolically depicted the extraordinary transformation that Jammu & Kashmir has undergone during the LG’s visionary five-year tenure.
On one side, the canvas reflected the painful past-Lal Chowk engulfed in chaos, filled with stone pelters, “Azadi” slogans, and banners declaring “Indians Go Back.” On the other side, it showcased the new era of peace and progress-Lal Chowk illuminated with the National Flag, the newly built Balaji Tirupati Temple in Jammu, the vibrant Jambu Zoo, the awe-inspiring Chenab bridge with the Vande Bharat Express gliding over it, the modernized Polo View Market in Srinagar, and the spectacular laser show at Bagh-e-Bahu in Jammu.
This powerful before-and-after visual not only highlighted the remarkable developmental journey but also stood as a heartfelt tribute to the LG’s unwavering dedication, as he completes five impactful years in office on August 6, 2025.
